Valley View Agri-Systems (VVA) is pleased to announce that Marc Wilson has joined Team VVA as Account Manager, Farm and Commercial Bins and Buildings.
“Marc’s over three decades in the bin business are an invaluable addition to Team VVA,” says Jeff Fjelstul, Vice President, Outside Sales. “He not only understands building grain systems, he also knows the ins and outs of designing a system custom-built around each individual customers’ needs.”
Wilson grew up in the bin business with his dad, who started in 1970. “I grew up doing everything from the dirt work up,” he says. “Then over the years I got into the manufacturing side and then back to the dealer side, so I understand every aspect of what it takes for a build.”
After his father closed the business, Wilson’s career includes time with Lambton Conveyor, Creamer Metal, Kittler Construction, Southern Bin Company (Sioux Steel), B&J Construction, Farco and AP Fabricating. He added to his robust knowledge base, even designing and building a full milling complex from start to finish.
“I take pride in being able to facilitate farm and commercial systems from dirt work ‘til finish in over 530 different customers, with many of those customers being loyal repeat relationships,” Wilson says.
The transition to Valley View is a natural extension of an already-rich career, and Team VVA was an appealing move for Wilson. “The concept of having an entire inside team behind you, and how much better you can then help and serve your customers, was a very exciting part of coming to Valley View,”
he says.
Born and raised in Wynne, Arkansas, Wilson and his wife, Tonya, have four children and four grandchildren. Any spare time he finds revolves around faith, family and every once in a while, hunting and fishing.
