Our Core Values

Our Strengths

Valley View Agri-Systems has been around the block in the grain storage and material handling industry. While our experience has allowed us to become the company that we are today, we are not complacent. We are committed to staying ahead of the industry curve by forging long-term relationships, using state of the art equipment and design philosophy, and pushing the technological envelope in an effort to improve our customers’ bottom line and quality of life.

We have extensive experience in the design and construction of projects ranging from small on-farm applications to huge commercial systems. We have the ability to incorporate a wide range of equipment into a design that works and allows for future growth as system demands change. We can also keep it simple with single bins and portable unload equipment.

Our ability to serve such a wide range of customers makes us very unique in our industry and we pride ourselves in that. Rest assured that if you choose to do business with us, we will do everything in our power to make sure you are a satisfied, life-long customer, regardless of the size of your operation.

History

Valley View Agri-Systems was founded over thirty years ago in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Since our founding, we have increased our market share by establishing relationships with farmers and commercial elevators, along with a series of acquisitions.

In 1990, the company purchased the Jonesboro branch of Simmons-Belk, a company established in Cleveland, Mississippi in 1958, and known throughout the South as a leader in the industry. Simmons-Belk’s Cleveland location became K&D Agri through a series of transitions, and then joined the Valley View Agri family in 2000.

In 2008 and 2009, Valley View Agri-Systems continued to grow through the acquisitions of Fowler Bin Company in Hoxie, Arkansas and Wilson Construction in Wynne, Arkansas. In 2012, the company sold to Jim Cochran from Memphis, TN. Jim and his family relocated to Jonesboro a short time later in order to live closer to the business.  This ownership transition ensures the company’s ability to serve our customers and grow into the future.

In 2020, Valley View added a Midwest Division in Central Illinois that services territory from Iowa, Missouri, Indiana and beyond.
