SU4GS Week 2025: Commitment to a Safer Future in Agriculture

At Valley View Agri-Systems, safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. This March 24-28, 2025, we’re proud to join the nationwide call to “Stand Up for Grain Safety.” This week is dedicated to raising awareness about best practices in grain handling and processing, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding every member of our agricultural community.

A Collaborative Effort for Enhanced Safety

This year’s initiative is powered by the OSHA Alliance Cooperative Program, a partnership that brings together industry leaders to improve safety standards across the board. The Alliance is made up of:

  • OSHA – Leading the charge in workplace safety standards
  • National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) – Advocating for best practices in grain and feed management
  • Grain Handling Safety Coalition (GHSC) – Promoting safety innovations and educational resources
  • Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) – Focusing on safe operations in grain handling and processing

These groups are united in their mission to provide comprehensive safety resources and practical strategies to ensure that every operation—from large-scale grain elevators to small family farms—adopts the highest standards in safety practices.
